My goal and verse since 2014 has been “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death:” Phillipians 3:10, however some days it seems I am no closer to my goal than when I began. So this year I asked myself what positive steps are you taking to reach toward that goal and your Bible reading challenge seems to be a very positive step in the right direction. I also appreciate the little daily encouragements which are helping me pay better attention to what I read. I am also making myself write a little nugget to reflect on for the day in a journal. So thank you for the challenge and the help.

I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am to be reading the bible every day with my husband! Throughout my life I read the bible here and there. Mostly jumping around, unfortunately. This is why I was ecstatic to start this reading journey.
Wonderful! I am SO excited to have this bible challenge. I really needed some kind of structure for getting through the Bible. I’ve bounced around and never really had a plan. I have read Matt-John, and fell in love with Jesus! Thank you!

As it is a new year, I wanted to again try to read the Bible the whole way through. I’ve attempted this a couple of times, but never succeeded. That’s why I love your 2018 Bible challenge. I think it will make the difference I needed in making me motivated and account able. So far I’ve kept up by doing the readings nightly as a way of preparing to go to bed. I really think this is a great method for those of us who struggle to get through the entire Bible, which isn’t always an easy read, to be honest! I signed up for the daily reminders so I will not forget.

After many attempts to read all the way through the Bible, I think this time I can actually complete it. I like the information which gives me some things to look for as I read and also the historical information. Thank you so much for providing this daily email. I have joined a group of friends on Facebook from around the world who are reading together this year. Accountability helps too.
I am totally enjoying this. I’ve tried reading through the Bible before and it just hasn’t happened. But with your encouragement and explanations it really makes reading an enjoyable time. I’ve been saved 14 years and have never read the Bible with any consistency, or daily for that matter. I love receiving the motivational emails and getting an overview of what I will be reading (for a better understanding), and having some thought provoking things to look up and study further. The generic Bible reading plan has been greatly enhanced by these emails, and I’m excited to be on this daily Bible reading adventure! Thank you! This has been truly a Blessing!
This has been awesome–reading God’s word daily! I sit with my notebook and jot a few questions down or verses that stick with me, and then go back and research them in more depth. I love your links and insight as well! This has been a tremendous blessing to me and I look forward to it every morning (or, once and awhile, evening)!! I used to read my devotional books every day and a little of God’s word before; but really getting into God’s word (with this challenge) has made me hunger for more!! Thank you VCY.
